North Europe Filmfest nominates Iran ‘Double’

The North Europe International Film Festival «Fusion» has revealed candidates with Iran short ‘Double’ winning two noms.  

Directed by Iranian documentarian Ronak Jafari, ‘Double’ won 2 nominations at the European film event for Best Foreign Language Short Film as well as Best Makeup.

The makeup design was performed by makeup artist Hadi Fekri.

‘Double’ revolves around two women who face several events on a rural road.

Sahra Asadollahi, Banafsheh Araabi, Houman Rahnamoun, Toufan Mehrdadian, Alireza Pourhashem, Behnam Momeni, Shima Khazaei, Dorsa Abolfazli, and Amir Shahverdi are among the cast.

Iran 'Double' was previously named among three best short films at the 40th edition of the Moscow International Film Festival.

Fusion International Film Festival has been specifically designed to bring together filmmakers from all over the world with four high quality International Film Festivals across major cities in Europe.  

The event is held annually in one of the European cities and this year will be launched in London on February 16-23, 2019.
